Questions
Billing, plainly
How does billing work?, expand
Premium is a subscription billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play — whichever store you installed Engraven from. We never see or store your payment details.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings at any time; you'll keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid for.
Is there a free trial?
Free itself is the trial — a permanently free tier with the full memorization engine and real coach access, not a countdown. Try Engraven for as long as you like before deciding on Premium.
Is there a lifetime, one-time-purchase option?
No. Premium is monthly ($6.99) or yearly ($39.99) only.
What happens to my unlocked personas if I cancel?
Anything you've already unlocked — through Premium or by earning it with practice — stays unlocked. Only further new unlocks are affected.
Does Premium make memorization faster?
No. Every study mode, the FSRS scheduler, and the coach's actual coaching are identical for Free and Premium. Premium buys unlimited access and instant appearance unlocks — never an edge over anyone using Free.
